BBC News reports that several churches have been attacked in Iraq, including an Armenian church in the Baghdad district of Karada.
At least 10 people have been killed and 38 injured in a coordinated attack that hit 5 churches across the country. The BBC says there are several reasons why the churches could have been targeted. Arguments over the selling of alcohol, an attempt to ignite sectarian strife, or an indirect attack on the coalition forces by the simple fact that they are mostly from Christian countries.

The Guardian gives more coverage:
One worshipper, who gave his name as Margahi, said: "I was in the mass. There was a big explosion, and there was screaming and we ran out of the church. I saw people bloodied by bits of flying glass and wood."
