Imports, Exports on the Rise

Interfax is reporting that Armenia's trade deficit grew 13.5% in Q1.

Foreign trade amounted to $445.9 million, up 14.5%, First Deputy Trade and Economic Development Minister Ashot Shakhnazarian said at a press conference Tuesday. Exports increased 9.6% to $152.6 million and imports rose 9.1% to $293.3 million.
