It seems Turkish lobby has succeeded to have the backing of 8 former U.S secretary of states. These secretaries served both democrat and republican governments and names such as Madeline Allbright and henry Kissinger and Collin Powell are among them. This time Armenian foreign ministry also came forward and criticized the move. The battle on the congress resolution on Armenian genocide is heating up more and more. you can read the story here.

British Institute of Contemporary Arts yesterday showed six 15-minute films on karabakh. They were made by made by journalists from Azerbaijan and Nagorny Karabakh.
bbcnews also has a story about peace efforts between 2 sides. the article is called Tales from Black garden available here.

And this one is a bit old but its interesting. It’s Turkish zaman newspaper’s interview with Patriarch Mesrob Mutafian of turkey. He has some interesting points and I am sure he is in a very difficult position so reading or listening people accusing him to “betraying” or “collaborating” is truly unfair, to him and to thousands of Armenians in turkey he’s protecting.
