Armenia voted France 2 of the 3 points they ever got :) Turkey voted 10 points to Armenia (there is Hope after all). It was interesting to see "friends and neighbours" reward each other points. Top points (12) from Armenia went to Russia and top points from Russia went to Armenia :) Belgium gave Armenia its first big break with points awarded. Armenia ended 8 out of 24 (a head of Turkey hah!) The simulcast from Yerevan during the vote casting was well done too, I thought. It was a lil proud moment to see and hear the name - Armenia - aagain and again. I didnt get into the hubub leading up to this but I thought Andre did a good job. The music was cool. One thing which amazes me is the extent of love towards anything closely or remotely reminding monsters and devils… I would appreciate if someone could share his/her thoughts on such reasons. It was also interesting to see Turkey giving high votes to Armenia… however, considering the Armenian approach in preparing for this contest I assume next year we will have some Armenian devils and monsters in Finland… So the contest is just finished and Finland is the winner. Most young ppl in western Europe are fed up with seing the same type of songs at the ESC year after year, and probably voted just to make a difference.
