<description>I have to be honest and admit that I don't follow news from Europe that closely at all now but Groong seems to have a lot of news reports that appears to tie in the French referendum with Turkey's accession to the EU. To be honest, I don't know what's at stake here or even what's in the proposed consitution but anyway, some of the Groong links.

ANKARA: If France Says 'No', Burden on Turkey Gets Heavier

Protest over Turkey becoming a member of the European Union

Chirac says EU constitution would put back Turkey accession
http://groong.usc.edu/news/msg113208.html

Chirac: France will hold referendum on Turkey potential entry to EU
http://groong.usc.edu/news/msg113209.html

FM says French &quot; No&quot; to EU constitution would Harm Armenian Interests
http://groong.usc.edu/news/msg113170.html

FM: No Connection between European constitution &amp;amp; Turk Accession
http://groong.usc.edu/news/msg113177.html

Like I said, I don't really know what people were voting on and also, there appear to be two sides of the argument that seem to contradict the other.

Anyone want to explain it to people like me quickly and concisely?

Thanks in advance.</description>
