Outgunned and outmaned Armenians turned defeats into victories (at terrible cost mind you). But the Armenian victory was not complete. I mean imagin if the Armenian Army was to march into BAKU. Not to occupy but to force a peace treaty on Yerevan's terms. The smell of oil has the major powers against Armenia. So Armenian dependance on Russia grows. And the Azeris are biding their time, Ilham keeps the refugees destitute and dictates to the people. Early peace is now more urgent as never before. Without a peace treaty, corruption and lack of democracy will turn Armenia into a mini-poorer Russia.
